Ellen DeGeneres asks fans to Celebrate Prom

High School drops out....Or those in quarantine, grab your prom dress and pose for the camera! 

The international threat of covid-19 have caused many to lock down and stay inside causing birthdays, weddings and social events to be cancelled and postponed. High School can be the highlight of many young lives, especially prom night for young men women.

Tuesday afternoon called for high school kids all over to gear up and get prom ready. Ellen posted to Instagram with a throwback photo of her own high school prom. Ellen wore a plaid collard dress for her special night. 

The day time talk show host said, "If your prom was supposed to be this weekend, I wanna see your gorgeous prom outfits." She called for viewers to post their photos and tag #EllenProm saying, "I promise you'll wear them to prom soon. #NationalPromDay.

Students jumped at the chance to post their looks and tagged the Tv Host wearing what they would have to the big night this year. Along with students come their parents. Parents posted throwbacks of their high school proms and the looks are definitely a time warp. 

Ellen announced earlier this month she would be social distancing, suspending production of her show. The star said she did this to ensure the health of her entire team. Since then DeGeneres has stayed busy by calling mega stars like Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox and Adam Levine.  Check out @TheEllenShow for all her quarantine rituals.
