The Hunger Games star sat down with Men's Health Australia for its May issue to talk about his fitness journey and the influence on his life.
Hemsworth and ex-wife Miley Cyrus recently finalized their divorced after more than 10 years of ups and downs and less than 1 year after saying, "I do." The 30-year-old has used fitness to keep him moving forward, being asked he would call what he's doing "Rebuilding." "Yeah, that's a good way to put it," he responded in the interview.
The Actor has been able to throw himself into work since the split, having a new Quibu series The Most Dangerous Game. He mentioned that he, "spend most of there project running around the street and getting beaten up as well. But it was a great thing 'cause it just kept me moving. I was doing like, 10 [Kilometers] a day or something at one point." He went on to say this is the first time he's done that in his life.
Trainer Jason Walsh who's been working with Hemsworth said, "I haven't seen him this happy for a long time. We took advantage of that."
The May issue states that Hemsworth had intense hour long workouts with partners like Jared Leto and Jake Gyllenhaal to name a couple. He posted to his Instagram showing him pushing a sled, racking up more than 2 million views.
"There are few people who have the natural ability and the body that can absorb everything you throw art it," trainer Walsh said. "I can't believe how well his body responds when he's not going through stuff," he added.
Hemsworth has since moved on with fellow Aussie and model Gabriella Brooks. The couple has been spotted displaying a lot of PDA with is new found body.
