The Hollywood power couple is following doctors order after contracting COVID-19 overseas and brought it into Australia. Authorities are on the hunt for fans who came into contact with the couple since landing in Brisbane. Time is of the essence as fans who posed for pictures in the Gold Coast and Brisbane may have been exposed and could potentially spread the virus throughout Australia. Authorities say Hanks and Wilson are two of seven new cases that have been reported in Queensland. Its expected the star actor and his wife have been infected for more than a week.

Hanks took to instagram yesterday to say thank you to health officials Down Under saying, "We are taking it one-day-at-a-time." He advised his followers to listen to health care experts saying, "There are things we can all do to get through this by following advice of experts and taking care of ourselves and each other no?" The Toy Story actor said his symptoms were tiredness, cold like symptoms and body aches. He then made light of there situation closing his Instagram caption with, "Despite all the current events, there is no crying in baseball."
The couple is currently being treated at Australia's Gold Coast University Hospital, but not before exposing possibly hundreds of individuals. The actor has been in Australia filming a new movie and singer-songwriter Wilson was touring the country including her performance at the Sydney Opera House. The couple were spotted snapping photos with fans in several locations including Bondi Beach the Sydney Opera House and Bonita Bonita & Bon Bon Bar on the Gold Coast. The couple will spend a minimum of 14 days in quarantine.
